This is a You and Me Story… An Ethics Story.
It is one thing knowing right or wrong, and putting your life into the good deeds, but it’s another to try to tell others what the real good deeds or bad deeds are. You see, it’s amazing seeing someone doing what the whole society or community decided was right to do, because then it shows that they sat and discussed on what would benefit them all together and doing the right thing was on the list; and I’ll tell you that that is something we lost over the years. So don’t tell anyone what really is right or wrong, it all depends on one’s morality reasoning or just one’s subtle life.
Why did I invoke these thoughts? Well, Ethics. Over what I’d call timestamps that every generation throughout this planet lived in, if anything wasn’t more considered, it got less attention. In 80’s, life was dreams, not passion dreams but leaving in the moment, no stress of planning the future, or pursuing your talents; it was just a ceremonial era where people danced all week, created fashion, had fun and hanged out a lot, all the other things were suddenly not important, not money, not schools, not marriages and surprisingly not even moral ethics. You could say they didn’t have problems as we do now, and that is the hard truth, but one thing was always there, love; love brought them friendship, loyalty I believe, fun and empathy, and with that everything flowed smoothly, just smooth.
In 90’s, well you know shit happened. Wars, money addiction, politics and all the other nonsense but still hurting bullshit. In that era of everyone searching comfort in possession and authority, Moral ethics also didn’t matter but it was there, the ones I’d call righteous knew its importance through the bible and the sudden rise of writings and writers that generation had created. People got stuck in there, wondering what to choose between the right things to do or just living and not caring about those stressful situations; so some chose the ethics and others, well you know what they stayed in. In all our history, the 90’s are the hardest anyone could have lived in, it was painful and people really suffered, power and money was in everyone’s mind and I’ll say the same for us too.
In the matter of moral ethics, this reasoning is hard to fulfill for any person who ever crossed this earth; all the lust and ungratefulness, all the complaining , our selfishness and greed, our stoned hearts and dark minds, all these can’t help but destroy us, we destroy ourselves. In this era we live in, people changed from being addicted on money to just work for it for the everyday living, from needing power to needing respect, from wondering what the future may bring to pursuing the dreams, from fear of choice between right and not caring to become the better versions of themselves. It is beautiful to see and live by, but still there are the backsides of it, because most people will tell you that they can’t change. that people cannot change.
People do change. They do change when they see it is needed, or when they reached rock bottom as the expression says it. Moral ethics is the study of acknowledging that the right thing to do is the right thing to do, and anyone can learn it, believe it and live in it. Books as much as they are now these days, make the strong impression to the reader that ethics or morality of helping a friend in need, or smiling back at someone or complimenting a pal, are our must responsibilities to anyone but not our rights to get. Our lives are weird as much as the first one, but we do what we choose to act on and that is what led us hear anyway.
You see i’m not an ethics teacher and i don’t want to be, but what i do know is that ethics is all just based on me and what i do for you. And this is what you should only take from here; However, there are a lot of resentments that push us off our cliff of acting on our most moral mind, let me tell you some of them:
First, Most people tend to ask themselves this question: who am i really? what’s my purpose in this life? what am i born to do? Trust me those are not the questions you should ask yourself; In fact there should be no questions at all. Well because you weren’t born to ask questions about your life but to just live it. Life is too short to wonder, you need to understand that the only reason of your existence is not written or foretold, you decide your own destiny and purpose, yes for sure you need help or guidance but it’s your life, your purpose is to live it by your best truth.
Second, People want to be right all the time. That’s the rise of disputes or friendship breaking and all other messy shit that occurs when someone wants to be the best in everything and wants to be the only one we should believe in, or they always want to be the center of every conversations they are into, that’s selfishness and fucked up thing to do.
Third, We are ambitious. It is a good thing to be ambitious because it gives motivation to overcome barriers to your success but it is also bad because we are So ambitious that we forget who helped us or was there with us, who to thank and who to help too. You see we are so arrogant and bastards that we need glory for ourselves; and you know the funny thing is? Most people say they will be better when they get on top, but when money flows in they are just as everyone else.
Last but not least, why are people so in need the world to be a bitter place? You find reasons for your life or the world to always suck, you tell yourself and tell others through videos and writings that their friends are not their real friends, just some jealous and pitiful clowns that want to profit you and take you down. People are dead i’ll tell you, you guys need everyone to suspect each and any one they meet, that just in the end breaks them and become alone, like what the fuck! We are taught that People are so an indigent specie, that should trust nobody but themselves. It’s not right people it’s not right.
All these are radical facts that fails us to keep doing the beautiful and right things to do for our own help or for the others, but we need to, we need to be better, to see someone and immediately love them, to help and get help, to make someone smile, to make someones life better and mostly to love God and keep our hearts shining; We need a lot and we have a lot to start doing, because life is nothing but but a blink, live it properly.
I recently had thoughts that time is a construct, when you disappoint it by using it well you win more time, but if you count on it to do your things you’ll be disappointed, it will just disappear in front of you. I wrote all this from a certain inspiration and couldn’t have words, precise words; but i believe i made it, right? tell me what you thought about it.
We owe each other love, respect, good deeds and forgiveness; we owe each other Everything! Ethics are nothing but rules, they suck, but you should learn them. They helped me know what is life and my meaning into this world, it was simple, living my life with my true self awareness of my actions and mind. Your purpose is always in you, you know it but don’t believe it because we tend to feel that we are worth more and should have one hell of a purpose here, maybe true or not, what matters is you living for you and if in you there is heart for me then that’s what i needed to keep.
This has been quite an acquaintance, isn’t it? A long inspirational teaching. Retain this, Ethics don’t control you, love does. Find yourself everyday, discover the World all the time. And as i once wrote in a song “what i learnt from the mirror, look too hard you’ll find you a stranger, love is just a decision, the choice is yours”
You owe yourself another Chance.
